Going back to South Island after a long time...
Before we go to Queenstown here's some pics from Te Anau glow worm caves. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photos in the caves so you just have to trust my word when I say glow worms are stunningly beautiful!
And then to Queenstown where we spent two days and tried different extreme sports:
| Paracliding |
The first bungy of the world, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the beautiful and terrifying Kawarau bridge:
And the Newis swing, the biggest swing in the world with 70 meters free fall:
We had a change to to many different activities in Queenstown. I obviously did the Kawarau Bridge -bungy and Newis Swing. Most popular bungy among our group was Newis bungy which is the 3rd highest bungy in the world and highest in New Zealand. Many people also did skydiving. For those who weren't too keen to jump of from airplanes or bridges there where different options like jet boating on the world famous Shotoverjet or Lord of the Rings tour.
On our last night in Queenstown we had an amazing dinner
Not too sure if this is Danish, Kiwi or exchange humor...
